{"id":6580,"date":"2025-06-09T00:00:49","date_gmt":"2025-06-09T00:00:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/skope.pt\/uncategorized\/1-a-summer-medical-school-lifestyle-aveiro-short-edition\/"},"modified":"2025-06-20T16:47:37","modified_gmt":"2025-06-20T16:47:37","slug":"1-a-summer-medical-school-lifestyle-aveiro-short-edition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/skope.pt\/en\/news\/1-a-summer-medical-school-lifestyle-aveiro-short-edition\/","title":{"rendered":"1.\u00aa Summer Medical School: Lifestyle \u2013 Aveiro Short Edition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thanks to all the partners involved!<\/p>\n<p>It was two days of great learning and a great time at Skope &#8211; Museum of Medicine and Health.<\/p>\n<p>We believe that health literacy is an essential pillar in the education of young people.<\/p>\n<p>Under our partnership with NOVA Medical School, we had the privilege of hosting the first Summer Medical School: Lifestyle &#8211; Aveiro Short Edition, a special, decentralised edition of NOVA Medical School&#8217;s (NMS) educational project, in partnership with the Casa Hermes Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>This programme was aimed at 20 children between the ages of 6 and 12 from the Bom Sucesso Primary School, of the Dr. M\u00e1rio Sacramento School Group, referred and invited by the Aradas Local Council, offering them a two-day immersive experience in key areas for their development: nutrition, physical activity, mental health and science.<\/p>\n<p>This edition was entirely free for participants, thanks to the Itau Scholarship, which ensured the enrolment of referred children. The event was also organised with the support of strategic partners:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SMEG Portugal<\/li>\n<li>Meli\u00e1 Ria Hotel &amp; Spa<\/li>\n<li>Junta de Freguesia de Aradas<\/li>\n<li>Unidade de Sa\u00fade Familiar da Regi\u00e3o<\/li>\n<li>Escola de Turismo | EFTA<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We would like to thank everyone for their support and participation in this event!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thanks to all the partners involved!
