A long-awaited visit from Professor Manuel Valente Alves, doctor, historian and artist. Someone who has deeply inspired and marked the narrative shared on Skope – Museu de Medicina e Saúde, with his work ‘História da Medicina em Portugal – Origens, ligações e contextos’ (History of Medicine in Portugal – Origins, connections and contexts), which recounts the evolution of Portuguese medicine intertwined with science, the fine arts, philosophy, politics and other areas of knowledge.
