We welcomed students from the Professional Health Assistant course at São Pedro Secondary School to Skope – Museum of Medicine and Health for a visit dedicated to the history of medicine and the evolution of healthcare practices.
Throughout the exhibition, students explored instruments and objects dating from the 16th to the 20th centuries, reflecting on the transformation of medical knowledge, scientific advances, and the impact of these changes on healthcare provision.
For future professionals in the field, understanding this evolution also reinforces the ethical, human, and technical aspects of their training. Skope continues to welcome schools of all levels, promoting guided tours that bring the history of medicine closer to health education.
