Citizens capable of fully exploiting their abilities, valuing knowledge and know-how — this is the principle that guides the work of the ADN Educational Hub. And it was in this spirit that the group prepared themselves, even before the visit, by creating a kind of ‘museum card’ about Skope – Museum of Medicine and Health, in which they tried to find out: where it is located, what it is, what the name of the museum means and even what medical specialities they might find in its rooms. This moment of research and exploration helped to spark interest and create a closer connection with what they were about to discover.
The morning began with a visit to the Museum, during which participants explored the permanent exhibition, reflecting on the evolution of medicine and the role of health throughout history. This was followed by a break and socialising: an outdoor picnic in the Museum garden, shared with joy and good humour.
With renewed energy, the group participated in the activity ‘For My Good Health’ (Pela Minha Rica Saúde), which challenged them to think about their own lifestyles and daily habits. Through practical activities and moments of sharing, each participant identified small steps to live more consciously and in a more balanced way.
