At Skope – Museum of Medicine and Health, we welcomed a group of students from the Integrated Master’s Degree in Medicine at the University of Aveiro.
We are grateful for the interest, curiosity and enthusiasm with which they explored our collections, shared their reflections and appreciated the role of the history of medicine in the training of present and future doctors.
Our special thanks go to Professor Célia Azevedo Soares for organising this visit and for her commitment to enriching the students’ learning.
We believe that learning about medicine’s past is essential for training health professionals to be more aware, humane and prepared.
